Dear John F. Kennedy Middle School Families,

It is with tremendous pride, excitement, and gratitude that I share some historic news with our Viking community:

John F. Kennedy Middle School has earned a school grade of “B”!

This achievement represents far more than a letter grade. It is a testament to what is possible when an entire school community believes in a common vision and works together with determination, purpose, and heart.

I want to extend my deepest appreciation to our incredible teachers, who challenged, inspired, and supported our students every single day. Thank you to our dedicated staff members whose hard work behind the scenes helped create the conditions for success. To our amazing students—your perseverance, resilience, and commitment to learning made this historic milestone possible. And to our parents and families, thank you for partnering with us, encouraging your children, and trusting us with their education. This accomplishment belongs to all of us.

Over the past year, we embraced high expectations, celebrated growth, and refused to settle for anything less than our best. Together, we proved that when Vikings work together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.

While we are incredibly proud to celebrate this historic achievement, we know our journey is not over. This “B” is not our destination—it is our launching point.

As we look ahead to the school year, we are excited to begin our next challenge:

“Race to the A: Every Viking. Every Day. Every Opportunity.”

Our sights are now firmly set on earning the first “A” in John F. Kennedy Middle School history. We will continue building on the strong foundation we have created by maintaining high expectations, strengthening instruction, supporting every learner, and working together as one Viking family.
